Air quality problems persist on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011. A “moderate,” or code YELLOW, day is forecast for the valleys and ridges of Henderson County and surrounding WNC counties, according to the N.C. Division of Air Quality.
Yellow means that unusually sensitive people should consider limiting prolonged outdoor exertion outdoors.
