This week “A Minute on Main” asked people spending time on Main Street in Hendersonville if they are doing something new or special to help others this holiday season. Folks offered some creative and great ways to do good! If you know of other ways to offer help please share in the comments below.

Something that’s fun to do any time of the year, but especially now, is to pay for someone else’s snack or meal at drive-through windows. Look in your rear view mirror, and when you get to the pay window, pay for the person behind you. If it’s a carload, or you think you may not be able to pay for their entire order, just put a set amount towards it, like $3.00 or $5.00 or so.
I’ve done this occasionally and it’s nice to see their surprised smiles as I drive off.
