Pet owners are beginning to bring their dogs to outdoor eateries in Hendersonville, now that a new state law has taken effect, according to the Hendersonville Times-News.

Enjoying lunch on Mezzaluna’s outdoor patio, Jack Flanagan said he favored the revision.

“I’ve been doing this for two years without knowing (it wasn’t previously allowed) since no one’s ever objected,” Flanagan said with a laugh as he petted his German shepherd, Conaugh.
